Vác FC Match Report: Top Meets Bottom

The game was ugly, with little creativity, partly due to visitors playing defensive football but hoping to pinch a goal on the counter attack.
Vác FC controlled the game but create few chances, ideas were limited. During the first half there were just two clear chances. Fábri Tamás had a near miss on 19 minutes and Zsolnai Richard had another shot in the 34th minute. But the first half offered little else.
At the break a local Vác dance school: 'The Dynamic Dance Studio' performed on the pitch.
The 2nd half brought more pressure from the home team which presented some chances. But the first big opportunity was created in the 65th minute by Zsolnai Richard who hit the post through a free kick,18 metres from goal.
In the 73rd minute the goal-keeper of Maglód saved a header from Greff Adam.
Then came a bolt from the blue, Maglód scored a goal against the run of play. A counter attack, bad defending and Vác were punished. (0-1 76th minute)
The Vác fans started to sing and the players responded. Attacking with conviction and intent. In came a cross, Fábri' header was saved only for the rebound to be buried by Zsolnai (1-1).
In the last few minutes, Vác piled on the pressure, desperately trying to score and in the 90 minute Tóth Gergely scored the winning goal, stealing all 3 points (2-1)
In the championship, Vác FC are now leading by 7 points after 14 matches.
