Hungarian Construction Companies Going Under

The number of construction firms deleted from the company register went up 15% this year, according to company information service provider Opten. On average 500-550 construction companies went under each month, peaking at 650 in October and 656 in November.
In all, 6,500 construction companies may cease to exist this year, Opten CEO Tamás Tóth estimated.
Although construction output is improving, it seems that small construction companies cannot withstand the competition, Tóth pointed out.
