Wizz Air Unhappy With Baggage Checks
Low cost airline Wizz Air is asking Malév Ground Handling to stop outsourcing the checking of cabin baggage at Budapest’s international airport, as the subcontractor Budport is taking too strict an approach. Wizz Air passengers are complaining that baggage is being rejected if it is only slightly oversized.

Budport employees are not providing the carefree travel environment for passengers that Wizz Air is aiming for, the airline said.

Wizz Air will revise its information leaflets to provide accurate information to passengers.

Wizz Air said baggage check personnel in all 104 airports where the airline operate are reasonable and fair with passengers.
