Hungarian Swimmers Excel At Two International Events On Sunday
Hungarian swimmers László Cseh, Zsuzsanna Jakabos and Gábor Balog all came first on the closing day of an international swimming event in Luxembourg on Sunday.

Olympic silver and bronze medallist László Cseh, who is also World and European champion, proved to be the best with a time of 52.57 seconds in 100 butterfly on Sunday after winning one of all three types of medal the previous day, the website of the Euro-Meet 2015 event reads.

Following her gold on Friday and two silvers on Saturday, Ms. Jakabos won with a time of 59.99 seconds in 100 butterfly and came second in 100 freestyle on Sunday. On the previous day, Mr. Balog won in 200 backstroke with a time of 2:02.38 minutes and finished second in 50 backstroke.

13-year-old Hungarian talent Fanni Gyurinovics made it to the finals in 100 freestyle, where she finished in eighth place (57.67).

Hungary’s World and European Champion female swimmer Katinka Hosszú won two golds and two bronzes at the closing day of an international swimming event in Nice, France, on Sunday. Fellow Hungarian swimmer Dávid Verrasztó also won two golds. During the three days of the contest in France, Ms. Hosszú won a total of 13 medals, including 8 golds, 2 silvers and 3 bronzes.

After winning a bronze medal on both Friday and Saturday, Evelyn Verrasztó finished second in 200 butterfly and third in 200 medley. Her brother Dávid Verrasztó won both of his finals on Sunday, with a time of 1:59:16 in 200 butterfly and 2:01.56 in 200 medley.
