Hungarian police have released footage of a foreign driver accelerating past 330kph (205mph) in his Lamborghini Huracan on Hungary’s M7 motorway last September. Although thankfully no fatalities resulted from the crash, the 36-year-old driver of the foreign-registered car faces charges of reckless driving and endangerment and his passenger suffered serious injuries.
The Czech-registered, neon green Lamborghini crashed on 5 September 2014 while heading from Hollád towards Sávoly, in the Lake Balaton area, when it tore through the guardrail to land in a drainage ditch. Luckily, the driver managed to pull his heavily injured passenger out of the wreckage before it burst into flames.
