- 6 Feb 2015 8:00 AM
Home furnishings retailer IKEA said it will stay open an hour longer from March to cushion a fall in revenue expected after restrictions on Sunday business hours are introduced.
Legislation approved last year will force most big retailers to close on Sundays, starting in mid-March.
IKEA will stay open from 9 in the morning until 10 at night on Monday- Saturday, an hour longer than usual, after the new rules come into effect.
IKEA had revenue of almost 41 billion forints in its business year ended August 31.
