Audi Cancels Gyõr ETO Sponsorship

Car maker Audi announced on Saturday that it has cancelled its sponsorship contract with football club Gyõri ETO, due to the scandal of the Quaestor financial group. Quaestor owns the sports club, as well as its stadium, and the attached shopping mall and hotel.
The club, Gyõri ETO FC, sought bankruptcy protection on Friday evening.
The situation at Quaestor damages the reputation of the football club, and therefore also the co-operation with Audi Hungaria Motor, the company said.
