Russia Bans Hungarian Poultry Due To Bird Flu
Russia has imposed a ban on Hungarian poultry after a strain of bird flu was identified last week at a farm in Békés county. More than 100,000 ducks were slaughtered on the weekend as the outbreak was contained.

Several thousand tonnes of Hungarian poultry shipments to Russia are affected, mostly from Gallicoop and Hungarit, the two largest producers, said Poultry Council head Attila Csorbai.
