Russians Top Foreign Buyers Of Hungarian Real Estate

Russians and Chinese are the top non- EU buyers of Hungarian real estate, mainly showing interest in dwelling residences, daily Magyar Nemzet said, citing data from the 2014 national statistics gathering program (OSAP). Last year 1,815 non-farm real estate properties were sold to foreigners.
Russians were the largest group of buyers, numbering 612. Chinese were the second largest group, numbering 403.
Fully 236 Russians and 355 Chinese bought property in Budapest.
