US Embassy Welcomes Arrests In Child Pornography Case

The US Embassy in Hungary has congratulated the Hungarian national police force and US immigration authority for their joint work resulting in arrests of two Hungarian citizens on suspicion of engaging in child pornography activities. The embassy noted in a statement that in 2014, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement shared information with its Hungarian counterparts regarding an international child porn ring.
Thanks to successful cooperation, Hungarian detectives arrested a 43-year-old male from Pest County and a 27-yearold Budapest man in their places of residence on April 14, 2015, the statement said.
US Ambassador to Hungary Colleen Bell said that the two governments “have no greater calling” than to protect “the most vulnerable members” of society “from exploitation and abuse.”
