Hungarian Rock Bands Quimby & Tankcsapda To Tour Europe & US

Two of the country’s best-known rock bands are heading off to conquer the audiences of far-away countries this year. Alternative rock favourites Quimby will take to the stage in clubs in the European cities of London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg and Vienna between 15 and 29 May, joined by another well-known alternative band, Kispál és a Borz in Amsterdam and Vienna.
Instead of issuing a statement, Tankcsapda has simply uploaded its tour poster to the band’s Facebook page.
The most remarkable venue where they will perform will by Whisky a Go-Go in Los Angeles, where Hungarian bands are rare guests, unlike classics from The Doors through Led Zeppelin to Motörhead.
The tour will have stops in rock clubs the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver, as well as Cleveland, New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles in the United States.
The band is planning to perform at an eighth venue during the tour between 6 and 15 November, in addition to the seven featured on the poster.
