The event is organized by the Hungarian Tourism Ltd. while the organizational tasks will be carried out by Hungarian Tourism Ltd. and its chosen subcontractor together.

The main objective of the largest agricultural and food exhibition in Hungary is to repeat the success of 76th OMÉK and demonstrate the achievements that have been made in the last two years.

We also would like to present the ways of modern, effective and environment friendly farming and to inform consumers about the fact that the Hungarian products are inspected very strictly to guarantee higher quality and food safety. We hope that we could enchant the city population with the magic of country life.

This endeavour is served by the different demonstrations, stage programs, quizzes, interactive attractions and intimate stalls offering traditional food, drinks and folk items.

The 76th OMÉK also has a great importance from the aspect of agricultural diplomacy, because the Hungarian agriculture is considered special in the European Union due to its natural endowments. We count on the presence of the leading agricultural politicians, ministers and state secretaries from Hungary and from other European countries as well.
We do believe that OMÉK conveys an actual message to agriculture experts, farmers and urban visitors as well. It introduces the top priorities of agriculture, highlights and emphasizes the formative power of the farmers that shapes the whole country, and shows us how to improve our agriculture.

Regarding that You are key members of the Hungarian agriculture, it is important that you take part in this special event.

We are expecting You at the 77th OMÉK. Let this exhibition be the festival of agriculture!

Regional areas:

Hungarian agriculture and agriculture related cultural features are introduced within the area of Hungexpo according to the nine touristic regions (e.g. Central and Transdanubian, Southern Transdanubian region, etc.), while displaying the most important landscapes (e.g. Őrség, Göcsej, Muraköz, Zselicség, etc.). The area planned for the introduction: Pavilions A, F and G.
