See What Happened @ Hungarian Days In The Central Market Hall Budapest
Every since I first came to Hungary, the Central Market Hall has been a place of colour, taste, and atmosphere. As the country developed and progressed over the years, this is one place amongst many that has remained constant. From the very first time I visited the Central Market Hall, it has held that allure that is synonymous with markets and market traders. I find things there that you can’t always get elsewhere.

Nowadays, The Department of Retail and Wholesale Market of the Trade Department of Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hall and Market Management of the Municipality of Budapest are organising a series of traditional Hungarian Days. The aim is to promote Hungarian craftsmanship.

Over the three-day exhibition that is being held this week, the handicrafts and products of more than 30 Hungarian farmers and artists, egg painters, gingerbread makers, wood-carvers, basket-weavers, embroiderers, potters, zither makers, weavers, and bead-makers are being displayed. Long may it continue, this not so little pocket of Hungary!
