World Science Forum In Budapest Next Week

The scientific world will direct its attention towards Budapest next week as the biannual World Science Forum conference takes place at the Academy of Sciences. Nobel Prize scientists from more than 100 countries will attend, along with science policy decision makers from the EU. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and EU Culture and Education Commissioner Tibor Navracsics will open the forum on November 4.
The World Science Forum has been hosted every other year since 2003 at the initiative of the Academy of Sciences, in co-operation with Unesco and the International Council of Science Unions.
