Budapest Hosts Hungarian-Flemish Talks
The Hungarian-Flemish Joint Committee held its 9th meeting in Budapest, the foreign ministry said. Co-chairs István Mikola of Hungary and Koen Verlaeckt of Flanders praised the body’s achievements in developing bilateral ties over the past two decades. Mikola said the restoration of cultural heritage sites in Iraq within the framework of UNESCO as a prospective field of cooperation.

The committee agreed on cooperation in business and urban development, logistics, agriculture, environment, renewable energy, science and innovation, as well as culture and education.
