Most Hungarians Are Unable To Save

Among Hungarians, 58% cannot afford to save money regularly, debt collection agency Intrum Justicia found in a survey. Those who can put something aside save an average of Ft 36,000 per month. About 50% of respondents said they had been overdue with some payments in the previous 12 months, while 36% said they had paid all bills on time.
Among late payers, 55% were unable to pay and 41% said they missed the payment deadline by mistake.
Among respondents, 44% said that they can properly manage their finances and only 7% said that they could not.
