Hungarian Pavilion Will Move To Karcag
An Italian court will probably reject the lawsuit launched against Hungary by a local construction company seeking payment for its work on the Hungarian pavilion from the recently concluded Milan World Expo, government commissioner for the fair Géza Szõcs told reporters yesterday.

“Just jot down that this is only a bluff, psychological warfare,” he said in response to a report that an Italian court had “repossessed” the pavilion.

If the court does not reject the claim, then the case could drag on for months, he said.

The pavilion will have to be taken down by May when its permit expires, Szõcs noted.

The cabinet has decided that the structure will be brought to Hungary and ultimately erected in Karcag, Prime Minister’s Office leader János Lázár announced.

He said the pavilion has been “taken hostage by Italians,” and that the cabinet would like to have it back.
