The time before Christmas is the most highlighted period for WAMP. At the three fairs during December there will even more exhibitors than usual, at 6 December more than two hundred designers will take part at the event in Buda. So you will surely have the chance to buy present for your loved ones or also for yourself in a sparkling market atmosphere.

If you would refresh your party wardrobe we recommend the chic cocktail dresses of Gabó Szerencsés, or the stylish pieces of Artista.

If you would present some cool stuff, you will surely love the leggings of Urban Legend with winter forest prints.

It will be a though choice to choose among the accessories, but if you are looking for a real special precious metal jewelry we recommend the pieces of Zosha Works and eVe by Eva Remenyi, and when you would give a cool bag, you should check out the clutches of Dóra Juhász, the new models of Judit Ducsai, that are also available for men, and the hip printed bags of MAKE design. Kids obviously are in the focus of attention at Christmas.

If you are thinking to give fairytale books for present, more publishers specializing in children literature will be present at WAMP, but kids will surely be happy for a Lencsi Művek doll or a Freshka toy too. If you are searching for home decoration, take a look at the characteristic pillowcases of Lamoppe, or at the beautiful ceramics of Judit Lantos. Cosmetic products are also great for presents, especially when they are made of natural high quality ingredients with manufactured methods.

The organizers are for example great fans of the brands Love2Smile and DR Hazi. If you get hungry during the shopping there will be super delicious food served on the spot by Büfé Budapest or Andalgo Deli among others. Some new recipes are always handy for the Christmas cooking, and the family recipe book called Sülve- főve együtt (Baking together) of the Kőfaragó siblings Anna and Zsuzsi is just here to help you with that. Interestingly, the book actually started as a family project, the girls collected their family’s favourite recipes with the help of their grandma for their mum’s 60th birthday.

The present has become so successful that they added some more recipes to it and made it available for the larger public too.

The book contains 75 delicious recipes, many family memories, beautiful photos and illustrations, and it even has some space for your own recipes. A perfect gift for Christmas.

At the first December Sunday WAMP will welcome the team of the highly successful musical Játékkészítő (Toymaker), who will not only provide the brand’s merchandise but will also prepare with a small exhibition where the cute illustrations, toys and other children accessories of the Valódi Játékkészítő (The Real Toymaker) charity project will be showcased.

At 2 pm you can join an interesting talk, where the actor Iván Kamarás, Gabriella Illés producer and Kata Müller the custom designer of the show will share their behind the scene stories with the audience. This Sunday you will also have the chance to win two tickets for the musical in December. Just take a photo in front of the photowall at the stall of Játékkészítő by wearing the show’s iconic red glasses, and send it to us in an e-mail. We will create a photo gallery from all the pictures and will pick a winner.

The nearby Moszkva tér (Moszkva square) is an emblematic point of the city, and surely many of us have at least one nice memory about it. In 2016 Museum Kiscelli dedicates a full exhibition for the square now called Széll Kálmán tér with the title #moszkvatér. The project is based on personal memories, and if you would share your own experience or souvenirs with others, or just find it important to keep these for the posterity you are warmly welcomed at the stand of the museum.
