Hungary’s Foreign Ministry Condoles Over Jakarta Bomb Attacks
Hungary’s foreign ministry has expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the gun and bomb assault in the centre of Indonesia’s capital, which killed at least seven people. The ministry said it was “shocked and concerned” to hear about the attacks.

“Hungary is convinced that Indonesia, which has demonstrated exemplary progress in building democracy, will overcome the threat of terrorism and will find and bring the perpetrators to justice,” the ministry said in a statement.

The foreign ministry told MTI earlier that the attacks had no Hungarian victims.

On Thursday, a busy shopping area in downtown Jakarta was hit by gunfire and explosions, leaving at least seven people, including five militants dead.

Jakarta police said four suspected attackers had been arrested.
