Miracle On Violin In The Palace Of Arts In Budapest, 2 February

The incredible talent, Vadim Repin started to play the violin at the age of 5, at 11 he already won his first music award and performed individual evening concerts already as a child. He was 18 when in Brussels, at the most highly ranking Queen Elisabeth Competition he won the first prize, making him the youngest winner in the history of the competition.
Ever since, Repin is among the highest ranking violinists in the international world of music, and this time he will introduce himself in Budapest, with the Hungarian Virtuoso ensemble in the Palace of Arts.
The Hungarian Virtuoso Chamber Orchestra was founded by violinist Miklós Szenthelyi in 1988, teacher at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, composed of his talented students who graduated from the Academy.
Ever since its foundation, the ensemble has a highly successful career abroad – they were on tour in Italy, Germany, Portugal, South Korea, and in the United States of America. In recent years, the Hungarian Virtuoso formation developed into the chamber orchestra with the highest number of performances in Hungary.
At the February concert Repin will perform Max Brunch: Violin Concerto no. 1 in G minor, and the audience will also hear several pieces of W. A. Mozart, conducted by Alexander Negrin. They will also present Figaro’s Wedding Overture, as well as the symphonies in A major and G minor.
After the concert, holders of Meet&Greet tickets can also meet the artist and conductor Alexander Negrin.
