Road Lovers – Petra Drávucz, Dóra Ida Szűcs
“Road Lovers is a silly journey with dance and music, performed in the style of a road movie. Former members of BUTI, the performers, Petra Drávucz and Dóra Szűcs may already be the heralds of a new generation, doing their circles one after the other, treading the road, their bare feet whooshing on the black vinyl carpet.”
Gentlemen – Gábor Ivanov, choreographer: Adrienn Hód
Art is an aperture through which to show, discuss and face illegal things. It can detach you from reality. So taboos become legal under the name of art.
Birth – Réka Harsányi, Dóra Ida Szűcs
Birth, this audio-visual, bio-feedback based performance tells the story of the intangible, the invisible.
Endure it – Timothy and the Things (Emese Cuhorka, László Fülöp)
That which is only capable of movement to change its position presents the risk of approaching us. And if it can approach us, it can also move away, and we will need to form a judgement whether it is pleasant or not.
8:30 pm – 9:30 pm: Nóti and the Armenians
Performed by: Zsolt Körtvélyessy (Jászai Mari Prize, Artist of Merit), Krisztián Jeges, Viktória Haik, Gabriella Schupp, Tamás Varga, Mária Várady. Director: István Szőke
Tasnad, Toronto, Paris, no way to stop, Berlin 1933! Károly Nóti, this wonderful figure of Hungarian cabaret and theatre gave a completely new direction to cabaret in Hungary from the 1920s, amazing audiences from Budapest, through Toronto, to Paris. As long as there is cabaret in Budapest, there is Károly Nóti.
9 pm – 10 pm: Tower Music, Mihály Dresch. Improvisations on the pictures at an exhibition
10:30 pm – 11:30 pm: Obscene fragments, or, there was a woman called...
A literary evening with music. Performed by: László Janik, Eni Nagy, Sándor Köleséri, József Tóth
Obscenity is not an end in itself at this performance, because there would be no point in it. We want to show how it is not a category of vulgarity, but has its place and status in our life, and how these words can also be used beautifully, wittily. This production contains no pornography. There is only eroticism in this performance, and causing offence was not our intention.
11 pm – 11:30 pm: Pixelling – Performance. Performed by: Olimpia Szalay, dancer.
11:30 pm – 1 am: Selfie Factory
A massive slide show: enter the photos of the exhibition, share the limelight with the artists.
11:30 pm – 2 am: Until closing time… Ferenc Darvas by his piano
