English Stand Up Comedy, Brody Studios, 8 June

Normally it’s not a good sign when a German steps on stage. It either ends in a world domination speech or in a Europop performance. Both cases have scared off generations and created a very well-known stereotype: Germans are not funny – at least not on purpose. Christian decided very early to change that stereotype. He performs in three languages: English, German and Spanish. He has toured the world, won several awards (including “King Gong” at London’s Comedy Store) and regularly appears at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Naomi trained at Bretton Hall, specialising in classical acting, and graduating with a BA (Hons) in Acting in 2006. Since then she has performed extensively onstage at venues such as the Trafagar Studios, the West Yorkshire Playhouse, the Leicester Square Theatre, and at acclaimed fringe venues including the Old Red Lion and the White Bear. Naomi was the first female finalist of C Venue’s Improvaganza at the Edinburgh Festival in 2009. She is a regular on the London stand-up circuit and presented her debut solo show ‘That’s Probably Enough’ at the Leicester Square Theatre in July 2014.
Dave shot to fame playing Tinky Winky in the Teletubbies and most recently featured in Harry Hill’s DVD ‘Sausage Time’. He has done four feature films which include playing Dave the comedian in ‘Maybe Baby’, written and directed by Ben Elton, and the porn star in ‘I want Candy’ directed by Stephen Surgit (unfortunately his scene didn’t make the final edit).
“Christian has one of the most subversive acts ever. “ – The spectator
“A comedy badass. Naomi Cooper is funny, know that.” – Jeff Garlin
“Dave is one of the finest joke writers in the country” – Time Out
