EU Funding To Drive Hungarian Highways Overhaul

The Hungarian government is planning over 19 transport related projects as part of an overarching program to improve the country’s transportation netword, as reported by World Highways today.
European Union funding amounting to as much as €795 million is being earmarked for the program as part of the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
The M70 and M15 divided highways will be widened and upgraded to highway classification as part of the program.
