Bence Tordai, a party spokesman, noted that parliament has approved an amendment to the budget which reduces the state supplement paid to local councils by one third.

Local councils will have to cut spending and some have already proposed charging entrance to beaches, the party said, adding that every Hungarian should have free access to natural waters in the summer.
