Hungarian Politician Farkas Missing But Drawing Hefty Salary

Fidesz politician Flórián Farkas, prime ministerial Roma affairs commissioner, has practically disappeared since the National Roma Authority was ordered to pay back Ft 1.6 billion in EU funds collected for the project Bridge to the World of Labour.
LMP co-president Ákos Hadházy said although the cabinet has virtually admitted that the Ft 1.6 billion was stolen, Farkas draws a salary as an MP and also collects a monthly salary of Ft 1 million as Roma affairs commissioner.
