MOL Takes Over 173 AGIP Filling Stations Across Hungary

MOL now operates one in four of all filling stations in Hungary and a retail network of more than 2,000 filling stations in 11 countries. The newly acquired filling stations will operate under the MOL brand and some will be “Fresh Corner” stations, where MOL offers more extensive retail services.
In the past two years, the MOL group has taken over 450 filling stations in central Europe, including almost 400 from Eni: 125 in the Czech Republic, 41 in Slovakia, 42 in Romania and 17 in Slovenia.
MOL is the market leader based on the number of filling stations in Hungary, Slovakia and Croatia, it comes in second place in the Czech Republic and third place in Romania and Slovenia.
