Four people died after two small aircraft collided in mid-air between Gödöllő and Isaszeg Sunday morning. Authorities blame human error for the disaster.
According to disaster authorities, a Piper 28 collided with a Cessna 182 containing two adults and a child after discharging three parachuters. The parachuters, who were participating in a skydiving competition, all landed safely.
The aircraft cashed in the Gödöllő arboretum about two kilometers apart. There were no survivors.
This was the third fatal accident involving aircraft taking off or landing at the Gödöllő airport this year.
