The CEU MicroData research group analyzes 200,000 public procurement decisions in Hungary to find out.
In this talk, Professor Miklos Koren introduces a statistical, machine learning approach to finding typical government contracts and to spot outliers.
The method can be used to identify unusually strong associations between particular buyers and suppliers.
It can also be used in business, analyzing data from supplier and customer relationship management systems.
