KDNP: People Have Right To Know Who Is Behind Jobbik

Referring to the village in which a police detective was killed by a suspect with links to the far right, István Hollik told a news conference that press reports suggested there was a link between Jobbik and the Magyar Nemzeti Arcvonal, an extremist group.
He called on Jobbik leader Gábor Vona to clarify what kind of connections existed between the two organisations. He added that in a photograph, Vona could be seen with István Györkös Jr, the son of the murder suspect from Bony who headed the “neo-Nazi paramilitary organisation”.
Hollik said the photograph had been taken inside the Iranian embassy “where they paid tribute to Persian friendship and Iranian support for Jobbik.”
The Christian Democrat lawmaker said the two cases were linked and he was calling on parliament’s national security committee to examine these “mysterious” connections and their associated national security risks. Jobbik dismissed Hollik’s allegations, insisting that nine delegates of the ruling Fidesz party had also been present at the said Iranian embassy meeting.
The meeting where Vona is photographed was organised by the Hungarian-Persian friendship chapter of the inter-parliamentary union, Jobbik’s statement added.
