Kósa Condemns Jobbik MP’s ‘Brutal’ Outburst In Parliament
The ruling Fidesz parliamentary group leader Lajos Kósa said on Tuesday that the radical nationalist Jobbik party should make clear whether it is for “cuteness or brutality”, in a comment on a recent outburst by a Jobbik MP in parliament.

News portal hirado.hu on Monday quoted Jobbik’s György Szilágyi shouting out in the parliamentary chamber to state secretary Csaba Dömötör, “Come here and I’ll f--k you over until your head flies off”, in reaction to the government official’s remarks on an immigration related proposal.

Kósa told public television M1 that it was “the umpteenth time” Jobbik’s deputies had carried out “unacceptable” acts, such as desecrating a Holocaust memorial. Jobbik has shown its “appalling and scary” face, and people like Szilágyi “should have no place” in the national assembly, he added.

Jobbik leader Gábor Vona should make clear “in what direction his party is going”, and whether Jobbik’s ideals are compatible with “outrageous anti- Semitism” and violence.

Parliament’s house committee has been called to discuss the incident on Thursday.
