Orbán’s Cabinet Dismisses Report In The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung About Quota Deal

FAZ said on Sunday that the idea of “flexible solidarity” introduced by the Visegrad Group suggested that Orbán might adopt a more cooperative attitude after next year’s Hungarian election. Kovács said there was no truth in the report. Out of principle, Hungary rejects the relocation of asylum seekers based on a quota, he added.
“A free country like Hungary cannot allow others to decide who should enter its territory,” he said.
Earlier the German government expressed grave concerns over the Hungarian asylum system and as a result, it stopped sending asylum seekers back to Hungary.
Also interesting a survey which says, of the 157 million voting-age adults living in 11 countries in central Europe, 106 million are against the European Union’s migrant quota.
