Semmelweis Among Top 200 Medical Universities
Semmelweis University in Budapest has made it to the world’s top 200 institutions in the field of medical science and pharmaceuticals, according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) list, the Human Resources Ministry told state news agency MTI on Wednesday.

Semmelweis University is 254th on the list in the life and medical education category, eight slots higher from its earlier position, the ministry said.

The Debrecen University is 397th, the Szeged University is between 401st-450th and Pécs University is in between 451st-500th, depending on the given field.

The UK QS company releases world university rankings annually.
