Centre Opens For Single Parents In Budapest

Human Resources Ministry state secretary for family and youth affairs Katalin Novák on Monday opened Hungary’s only single-parent centre at the corner of Üllői út and Mária utca in the Eighth District.
Support experts will await single parents, who can also use the community space as a mobile office.
Novák said the message is that single parents are not alone and can count on NGOs for help as well as on fellow parents and the government.
