Hungarian Police To Help Protect Borders In Serbia, Macedonia

Fifteen Hungarian police officers will travel to Serbia to work along the Bulgarian border and thirty to Macedonia to work along the Greek border, police.hu said.
Deputy national police chief István Kovács bade farewell to members of the contingents in Budapest.
They will patrol the border in order to prevent and uncover unlawful border crossings and will be involved in arresting human smugglers and illegal migrants.
The Hungarian police will use their own equipment including vehicles and night vision devices to carry out their tasks and will act under the control and supervision of their Serbian and Macedonian colleagues, respectively.
