Stand-Up Comedy, Brody Studios, 4 July
Give your laughing gear a workout with a healthy dose of English humour courtesy of host Dave Thompson and a cast of international comedians featuring Jeff Green and Okello Dunkley.

Award-winning British comedian Jeff Green has become a well known face and voice on Australian TV and radio since arriving for his first Melbourne International Comedy Festival performance here in 1996.

Now an Australian resident (he has an Australian wife, some have accused him of social climbing but he disputes that), Jeff is hugely in demand in the UK, Europe and Asia – his stand-up comedy background is impressive: A solo West-End season and three full length UK TV comedy specials.

Okello Dunkley is a New York born and Washington DC raised comedian that currently lives in Vienna Austria. His comedy is mostly observational and when you're live in Vienna and travel to the USA, there is plenty to observe. Okello has performed on stages around Europe as well as New York City, Chicago and Philadelphia.

Dave shot to fame playing Tinky Winky in the Teletubbies and most recently featured in Harry Hill’s DVD ‘Sausage Time’. He has done four feature films which include playing Dave the comedian in ‘Maybe Baby’, written and directed by Ben Elton, and the porn star in ‘I want Candy’ directed by Stephen Surgit (unfortunately his scene didn’t make the final edit).

By Peterjon Cresswell for XpatLoop.com. Watering-holes designed to attract expats in Budapest are many and varied. Some stick to the winning formula of all-day breakfasts and TV sport, others add local character and originality.
