Hungarian Police Crack Down On Mobile Phone Drivers
Police have filed more than 1,000 misdemeanour charges in the course of a two-day operation to catch those who hold mobile phones in their hands while driving, it was announced on Tuesday.

Police said 12,314 drivers were checked and 1,123 charges were filed. 

Police conducted the operation on Friday and Saturday under the name “Pay Attention to the Road”.
