African Swine Fever Found In Boar In Hungary
The African swine fever virus was found in a dead boar near Hagony in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, close to the Slovak border, on Monday, the food safety authority Nébih announced.

More than 150 samples collected in this area over the last four months were all negative for the disease.

The chief veterinarian is now defining the borders of the closed and preventive epidemic control areas.

African swine forever is not dangerous to humans, the Nébih underlined.
