Peter Magyar, the leader of the opposition Tisza Party, has written an open letter to the Russian ambassador to Hungary, protesting a recent statement issued by Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service.
Independent MP Akos Hadhazy has said "the government has now become uncertain … but we don't know what it will do in autumn and next spring", and added that his series of weekly demonstrations would be continued.
An agreement between Hungary and Slovakia on regulating water flow on the Danube is taking shape, Gabor Czepek, a state secretary at the Energy Ministry, told public television.
