While the swimming season is still a few months away, Lake Balaton is officially cooling down in a different way this weekend.
A new exhibition celebrating the rich cultural, gastronomic and technological story of coffee has opened in downtown Budapest. Entitled “Coffee is King”, the interactive show is now on display at the Electrotechnical Collection of the Hungarian Museum of Technology and Transport on Kazinczy Street in the city’s 7th district.
Budapest’s plant-based scene has flourished in recent years, making it easier than ever for expats and locals alike to enjoy creative, satisfying meat-free meals across the city. From indulgent vegan burgers and Hungarian comfort classics reimagined, to gluten-free Italian favourites and globally inspired street food, the capital now offers something for every taste and dietary requirement.
