Thanks to the development, line 100E can provide a fast and comfortable connection between the airport and the city centre during the busiest travel periods.

Since its launch in July 2017, bus line 100E has seen continually growing passenger numbers, that is why BKK introduced several improvements in the past year, such as 20-minute frequency instead of 30 minutes, longer operating hours, and since last summer, buses arriving from the city have used the airport’s departure level.

Following the assessment of the utilisation level of the service, it was established that passenger numbers are showing dynamic growth with especially high numbers on Mondays and Fridays in addition to Sundays.

That is why BKK decided to increase daytime service frequencies on Mondays and Fridays starting from Monday, 27 May 2019, and accordingly, on three days a week during the busy travel period between 8:00 and  19:00, buses run every 10 minutes between the airport and the city centre.

BKK continues to monitor demand levels and if needed, extra departures will be added.
