4,500 Vacant Positions In Hungarian Education
As many as 4,543 positions remained vacant in the education sector in the second half of 2019, website 24 learned from the Central Statistics Office on Wednesday.

Prior to the reporting, Human Resources Ministry state secretary Bence Rétvári was unwilling to divulge the number of teachers missing from the education system.

In the first quarter of 2016, 1,343 teachers were sought in secondary education, while in the second quarter of 2019 that number was 2,147.
