New Budapest Homes Reach HUF 900,000 Per M2
The average price of newly built homes in Budapest reached Ft 900,000/m2 in the second quarter, the Budapest Housing Report calculated based on a database of 24,000 homes in large housing projects in the capital.

The number of new homes offered was down by 5% from the first to the second quarter. The number of new homes built was 800, down by 72% from the previous quarter.

The average size of a new home is 64m2.

The average price of a new home is close to Ft 2 million/m2 in the Fifth District, making it the most expensive district. The cheapest districts are the 16th and the 17th districts, where the average price is slightly below Ft 600,000/m2.
