Coming Up: 'Jewish Art Days', Budapest, 25 May – 2 June
The Jewish Art Days were held in Budapest in the spring of 2016 for the first time. The new event series presented the diversity of Jewish culture with a wide range of artistic productions to interested audiences in downtown venues.

Besides the well-known cultural areas, concert halls, theatres and cinemas, such as the Liszt Academy, the Urania National Film Theatre, the Átrium Movie Theater, the A38 Ship or the BMC, visitors could also take part in special events at the cultural, gastronomic and entertainment squares of the more relaxed atmosphere in Budapest’s Elizabethtown, including Mazel Tov or Fogas…

It won't be any different in 2019! From May 25 to June 2, a similar art crowd awaits its audience open for Jewish culture.

Time

The Fourth Jewish Art Days will be held between May 25 and June 2, 2019. By May, the days are getting longer and warmer, and we are becoming more open and receptive to energizing things unaware of before. In this spirit, we are organizing this exceptionally special series of spring events.

Art form/quality

The Jewish Art Days Festival is a multicultural space open to all, where the different forms of art not only create a cross-section, but by centering around Jewish culture, the different art forms are blended into one.

The emphasis of the event series is on theatre, classical and pop music, literature, film and dance, and all these genres show diversity, while the artists bring forth openness and creativity to the performances. Quality is guaranteed by the list of invited artists.

The team creating the event

The Kultúr Produkciós Iroda (Culture Production Office) with its 17 years of organizing experience launches an event series which is not limited by time or space. The founder and director of the Jewish Art Days Festival is Dr. Vera Vadas, who was the visionary and creator of the Jewish Summer Festival.
