St Paddy's Parade In Budapest, 17 March

This popular expat community event brings together families, friends, and tourists, to 'be green for a day' celebrating St Paddy at this child-friendly parade.
On St Patrick’s Day it is customary to wear shamrocks and/or green clothing or accessories (the “wearing of the green”).
St Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish. Read on for teh local program:
