Hungarian Writer Sets Prolific World Record
Writer István Nemere had published 726 titles by the end of 2019, achieving a new world record, he announced on Thursday.

The previous record was held by Britain’s Barbara Cartland, who died at the age of 89 in 2000.

Nemere published his first novel in 1974. He has copies of all of his books on 13 shelves of 80cm.

“I will live so long as I write, and write so long as I live,” the 75-year-old writer declared.
