Coronavirus: Active Cases Stand At 88,737 With 101 New Deaths In Hungary

3,945 new cases were confirmed. The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 122,863 . The number of deaths stands at 2,697, while the number of those recovered now stands at 28,808.

91,358 is the number of active infected, 6,352 patients are hospitalized, 473 of them are on ventilators.  The number of infected people is growing exponentially throughout Europe, in the neighboring countries and in Hungary, and more and more people need hospital care.

The epidemic cannot be stopped, the goal now is to slow down the epidemic.

After parliament voted on Tuesday to extend the state of emergency, the government announced further protection measures. These are designed to reduce the incidence of coronavirus disease and the burden on hospitals.
