Westend Mall in Budapest Lands Euro 290 Million Green Refinancing Deal
Granit Polus has refinanced its Westend mixed-used investment in the centre of Budapest with EUR 290m of green credit from a consortium of lenders led by Erste, the property developer said.

The consortium includes Erste Group Bank AG, Erste Bank Hungary, UniCredit Bank and K+H Bank.

Westend has over 50,000sqm of retail space, 16,000sqm of office space and a 230-room hotel.

Around EUR 10m has been ploughed into energy efficiency investments at Westend in recent years.
