Hungary & Turkey Launch Bid To Promote R&D
Hungary’s research and development institute NKFIH and the Turkish scientific and technology research council TUBITAK have launched a joint bid to promote research and development cooperation projects, the innovation and technology ministry said.

The two countries will provide financing for innovation projects aimed at producing marketable prototypes, new products, technologies and services.

The Hungarian side has contributed 200 million forints (EUR 550,000) to support cooperation between universities, research institutes and businesses in the two countries.

The areas to be covered by the scheme include the health industry, information and communication technologies with special regard to artificial intelligence and 5G, as well as technical areas such as self-driving vehicles and robotics.
