Big BUX: Budapest Stock Exchange Turnover Doubles In November
Turnover on the Budapest Stock Exchange more than doubled from Ft 346 billion in October to Ft 713 billion in November, the exchange announced on Tuesday.

Compared to a year earlier, the increase was 57%.

The BUX index gained more than 20% in the month of November, rising from 32,279 points to 38,782.

Leading the way, MOL shares went up by 32% in value and OTP rose by 21.6%.

Trading in OTP shares accounted for nearly 62% of total turnover, followed by MOL with 20%.

Among brokerages, Erste was the first with a market share of 25.1%, Concorde came second with 23.8% and Wood regained its third position with 18.9%. Random Capital realised 8.8% and OTP 7.8%.
