Hungary has reached the second stage of the epidemic, the stage of group incidences, when infection spreads in public, upon personal contact.

The Operational Group has said the goal now is to avoid mass disease.

“Personal responsibility is crucial for avoiding mass disease,” said Chief Medical Officer Cecília Müller at Thursday's press conference.

Müller added that the patient's conditions vary, but unfortunately six of them are being treated in intensive care and are in a serious condition.

In Hungary, the number of newly diagnosed coronavirus infections has reached 85, including 10 Iranian, 1 British, 1 Kazakh and 73 Hungarian citizens.
